  1. love this place!

    just got a quick???

I video/audio taped a concert last week and am looking for suggestions of software and/or ways to trim out the bottom 1/3 of the shot and then leave the remaing vid centered/letterboxed

way to many drunk faces of friends and relatives in there

I have vegas/DVDlabPro and some other programs that I have authored DVDs with, just never edited them this much and am looking for any pointers or "how to"s

    thanks in advance

there are probably a variety of ways to do this. I did one the other day by adding a video track, and putting a "Color Gradient" media (the blue movie border) onto the top track. I changed it to black, and made it have sharp edges just on the top and bottom.

Then I used the track motion on the original video track to adjust the video vertically.
