  1. Hello I have been seaching for an answre on the forums all morning yet to no avail. I have tried to make 3 DVD's from 3 different bin files and in every DVD player I play them in the video jerks for about a minute and then it will paly fine for about 1 min. then go back to jerky motion. I have the RC 6 version and was wondering if I could revieve a little assistance with this problem. Also I am using the quick DVd option.

I aggres this is not normal - especially on the PC. "Does it play on the PC?" is asked to eliminate the fact that the DVD player might be having problems. If the PC does too it usually means the dvd has been authored incorrectly. It helps me to narrow things down - thats all.

Can you email me your log file.

    Thanks.

There is a log generated for each SVCD2DVD run. It is located in the logs folder under the folder where SVCD2DVD is installed. Each log is label with the date, svcd2dvdlog-yyyymmddhhmmss.txt e.g: svcd2dvdlog-20050324205008.txt

I am looking into it. Doing it again obviuosly will not resolve the issue until i have found the issue and resolved it.

BTW: how did it play on the PC - you never said.

Might have missed it I patiently await a response the reason I tried it agan was to see if perhaps there was something that I had done that was wrong and so not to waste anyone's time (was just giving it another shot I guess)

    I'm still looking into it.

Could you send me a small sample of the original mpg to ftp://BetaTester:badger@ftp.svcd2dvdmpg.com:7676

    (create yourself a folder)

You can use makesample: should be straight forward to use. See if you can get a sample which replicates the problem on the PC (WInDVD)

If your VIDEO_TS shows the issue can you upload that too along with the log?

  19. Dont have the original file any more deleted after I went ahead and did it the old fashioned way yet the jerkyness happened on all files I attempted to use -As far as the burner I use is a NEC 3500 and I use Taiyo Yuden discs no other problems whe I did the old fashioned way.
