  1. Hi,

    I have used ScenalyzerLive to caputure my video. It was producing a avi
    file with data rate 3640.62 Kbps.
    I have read somewhere that if the data rate is 8 Mbps, then it would really
    very good quality video.
    I am using the Sony dv output camera. How can I increase the data rate in ScenalyzerLive? or which capturing software is good for doing this?

    is it really good audio setting ( 32 KHz ,16 bit Stereo ,pls refer the
    image attachement)?

    Thanks in advance

    Regards,
    Anbu.

    You(and some tools) are confusing byte with bit. 8 bit is 1 byte.
    DV is around 3.6 Megabyte/s and that is around 28 Megabit/s.
    DVD is around 3-8 Megabit/s and that is around 0.4-1 Megabyte/s.

    So when are you converting the DV AVI to DVD you are reducing the size, lowering the bitrate.

    @mpegencoder:
    better check that -- original post sounds good to me (about 28-29 mbits/sec including video, audio, and overhead for DV25)
