Someone here had this problem already, but I couldn't find the post.

How to properly resample audio in .avi file from 48000 to 41000? When I'm trying to make a DVD using myDVD prog, but always get an error. I read that the sample rate should be changed from 48000 to 41000. Anybody knows how to properly do it?

  2. No, 41000 is not valid. 44,100 is (S)VCD spec.
    DVD Spec is 48000.

You have read wrong wherever that may be. For DVD the compliant sampling rate is 48KHz as also indicated by reboot.

Pl go through the guides in this forum for more details.

All my videos have a 48000 KHz samping rate and I've successfully burned all of them on DVD using myDVD, except this one .avi which has the same properties as my other vids, but I can't burn it.

    Here's the info:

    VIDEO STREAM
    Compression: divx - Unknown
    Frames: 92736
    Frames per sec: 25.0000
    Peak Bitrate: 0
    Streams: 2
    Resolution: 640 X 480
    From: 0 To: 92736
    Color depth: 24 bits
    Audio delay: 0 secs

    AUDIO STREAM
Wave type: 8192 - Unknown Wave format
    Samples Rate: 48000
    Bit depth: 0
    Channels: 5

When I first downloaded the vid, there was no sound, so I had to install K-Lite Codec Pack 2.36 Basic to get the sound.

  5. Whoever encoded that video should be shot.
Good luck, with whatever that is.
Post a screenshot of it in Gspot.

  6. Have you used VirtualDubMod. Try VirtuaDubMOd to demux the video and audio and use them separately to author.

I would suggest use TMPGEnc DVD Author or DVDLab Pro to author your DVD
