when downloading firmware updates should i start with the first one and download them all i know there is 3 offical ones..

kenmasters83,
You normally only need to use the latest update. Most of the time, the update is both for the system and drive. The latest update is just a system update so you will want to first update with the most recent system/drive update to get the latest drive update, then update with the newest system update. These are the files you need:
1. Update with 1193 RevA (on my site) first. This is the most current system/drive update.
2. Update with 1193 RevB Hacked (on my site) second. This is the newest system update w/ hacks for LP 3-hour mode, Region Free and disables MacroVision. -
Guitarman,
Is 1193a the same update that is on the ilo site released March 7th? I'm just wondering before I use 1193b or 1193a if I should use the one from ilo first. -

To find your current firmware, go to the setup screen and look at the serial number. xxxx-xxxx-0193-xxxx The third set of numbers is the firmware version.
There is another firmware upgrade coming in the next week or two that is suppose to fix the problem with green tinting and CD audio playback, so keep an eye out for it. It will be hacked and posted as soon as it is released.
Good luck -
Thanks Guitarman. I'll install 1193a and 1193b hacked and I'll keep an eye on your site for further updates.
