Hi there.
I know it is probably way off topic and will probably get moved but I cant find anything about this anywhere.
My daughter has a PC game that she plays all the time but as she is 9 she doesnt take good care of the discs.
I bought alcohol120% so I can put an iso of the game on her computer so she wont damage the discs but I cant work out how to use it.
I have tried making an image of it but it just comes up with a heap of errors.
I suppose this is due to the encrypting?
Is there a way around this or a program that will make the iso?
Like I said she bought the game and I have bought the alcohol120% so it is all legal but I just cant work out how to do it.

i think you can use DVD Decrypter to make an Image file,Then use DAEMON Tools to mount the image to play from,Its like a virtual CD-rom.

thanks jah_rankin I will have to try that as I couldnt use dvd decrypter as the game is on a cd not a dvd.

hmmm that didnt work too well.
I got all these read errors so i cancelled it. I had it as a general protected cd?
Is there a program that tells us what type of protection etc the cd has on it?
