Not sure what to call this topic :P

However, I am in the market here & this is what I can find in our "Lucky Country" ( )

    TBC:

    http://www.questronix.com.au/products/ctb100.htm

    JVC VHS:

    http://www.questronix.com.au/products/sr-v10e.htm

(BTW You can get these at other places for a "bit" cheaper, just look around, however these are handy links to the products.)

I am interested in hearing opinions on these equipment? Are they equivalent to the JVCs & TBCs I hear so much about in this forum? I believe the above JVC has the line-TBC/NR feature. It is PAL (with NTSC of course) and retails for about $600 (Aus $$). The CTB-100 TBC retails for about $350 (I think)...kinda cheap, actually, considering other TBC's retail for $1000s.

I would like to hear about "Proc Amps" and "Detailers" too (available in Oz).

    Thanks!

SR-V10 is a good unit, yes.
    USA has the SR-V10U

I may almost need to get an OZ unit.
My UK PAL unit seems to suck a bit when it comes to OZ tapes.
