  1. Is there any easy program that burns multiple svcds on one dvd. i´ve bought a couple of dvds when i was abroad and there could be up to 4 different movies on one dvd. What program can you make these kind of dvds with?

    If your source is SVCD:
    svcd2dvd

    If your source is DVD:
Don't convert to svcd. Convert to dvd with low resolution instead. Use for example dvd rebuilder. Select Half D1, convert each, and then join them with tmpgenc dvd author or dvdremake to keep the menus and crap.

If your source is something else:
Don't convert to svcd. Convert to dvd with low bitrate and low video resolution and you can fit several hoours/dvd.

  3. Assuming you have SVCD mpegs, and you want more than one on a DVDR, then DVDLab will directly author SVCD mpeg's to DVDR.
If you have some other source, then it's best to follow Baldrick's advice.
