I use's DTS 5.1 mostly.But if the playing time exceeds 120 minutes than i limit to Dolby Digital 5.1 .

DD 2.0 for most projects as most of my source material is only stereo anyway's, and it sounds damn good through a pro-logic rec.
For backing up DTS first then DD5.1 if DTS is not supplied. -

MPEG 2 audio for captures as thats what my WINTV PVR250 records in.
DOLBY 5.1 for most backups. Though occasionally I'll rip the DTS.
