I place motion thumbnails in the VTS menu. Those motion menus thumbnails are custom made by me.
As long I don't link the thumbnails on their respective movies, the render motion menus tool render the thumbnails as I expect.
But if I start linking the thumbnails to their movies, when I render the motion menu, it use the linked movie as the thumbnail instead of my custom made thumbnail!
Why and how I can work around this?!

The facilities DVD Lab Pro has for rendering transitions and 'motion menus' are limited, and frankly, often crude. It assumes (rightly, I believe) that you have prepared your assets before hand.
The other way around your problem is not to use the thumbnails themselves as links, but ass a small symbol or similar instead. Link the movie to these and you might be OK.
Otherwise find another package.Read my blog here.

Thanks,
I have however found a workaround to my problem.
I simply don't have to link the thumbnails at all and let the render do the job
When the render is finish I just have to relink the thumbnails and voila. Compile and done
I working on the 30days trial. I love the program but I'm a designer first. I guess it doesn't suit for me.
