Hi!
I want to make some stop motion captures using freeware softwares like Anasazi, Stopit or Captureflux, but none of them recognizes my capture card (PlayTV MPEG 80000GT series under Windows XP) -- they are only recognizing webcams. My card works with VirtualVCR and the capture software that came with it, but none of them allows stop motion captures.
Does anyone know why those softwares do not recognize this card?
And perhaps could suggest another free stop motion capture software(s) that will work with this WDM-based card?
Thanks for any help.

Which is not the case: the PlayTV MPEG 80000GT card has no hardware MPEG encoder... it's by software.
Maybe the problem is actually related to the WDM drivers that some capture softwares seem not to like very well...-- Greycat.
