I encoded a movie today.. a divx avi to svcd.. now, I have the .mpg file, and it is about 1.4 gb.. although the sound is not in synch. It is in good synch in the beginning. After 10 mins its start falling behind. I want to fix the sound so that it is in synch. How do I do it? do I extract the sound with virtual dub? can someone please tell me step by step?

You can try demuxing it with tmpenc and then remuxing it with bbmeg, or you can pull the sound off the original divx using vdub and then re-encode the video using tmpenc and then mux the wav file to the encoded video, or you can let tmpenc do the whole encode using the wav file from the divx as your audio source.
