The pic on the left is one frame after the one on the right. You can see the shadow of her head in the next frame. I guess this is normal since it's on DBS and C-Band rips of that days Daily Show, but I've never see that happen before.. Any insight as to why this happens?

I've seen this happen on my ATI card if I capture with a motion estimation level that's low. Try bumping up the motion estimation quality setting to the highest it can go.
