  1. Hello
I'm running AVer Media DVD EZMaker USB2.0 digital video maker.
It captures both video and audio into an Mpeg2 which works well.

Problem is the audio is captured fraction of a second ahead of the video, throwing the two out of sync. Is there any adjustment that can be made.

I'm running an Athlon XP3200 (2.20GHz) and 1.0 GB Kingston 400FSB RAM. Disappointing results. Thanks Mike

  2. PS this is comming from a dv or hi8 output. In either case once the capture is on HDD, the delayed video shows. TomTucker: "only slightly-only slightly"

You need a Timebase Corrector between the source and your USB capture box's analog inputs

  5. All the info I see points to it being a video signal-oriented clean-up device. No audio inputs...Am I looking at the right thing?

Are you doing any trimming or cutting of the mpg2 file before authoring?

Is the audio out of sync when viewed on your PC immediately after capture but before authoring?

VideoReDo is a software app that has the capability to manually re-sync
    audio to video.

  7. not at this point. The hardware/application captures from source and renders Mpeg2. Which when viewed from hard drive, is slightly out of sync. I'll ck the link. I may be dealing with a USB1 on the motherboard instead of USB2.0...just more money...
