when i rip my movie and get the audio i downsample it with SSRC(48khz->44.1KHz)..then encode to mp2 with tooLAME then mux my Mpeg1 VCD with the audio(i use bbMpeg)..i get an out of sync MPEG1 VCD...and this happens every time..can any of you tell me how to fix this problem

I use SSRC/Toolame for everything and never have an audio sync issue, so it's not a general problem with either tool. If you use DVD2AVI, make sure you plug in the audio offset appropriately - that could cause problems.
As a test, you might try encoding it at 48 KHz and see if you still get an audio sync problem - you should.... -
try not use SSRC just tooLame i assume you are makng them as an EXternal Encoder with TMPGenc..if you are just dont use SSRC

The question is, how do you use ssrc, from the command line, with Azid_Lame GUI, with TMPG? Is the video/audio faster/slower than audio/video or is there a constant difference?
Why you are sure, ssrc make it out of sync? Why not the audio conversion?
