  1. I am trying to back up my new Donnir Darko Director's cut movie. i have backed up disc 2 with no problem using anydvd and clonedvd. but disc 1 which has the movie is different. it gets an error reading data at about 83-87% on clone dvd. i have access to dvd decyrpter and dvd shrink which neither can handle the job. am reading off a toshiba 16x dvd rom/ burner is nec 3520a newest firmware installed. any ideas?

  2. Have you tried ripping it with your writer? Sometimes that's all it takes.

If it's the new copy protection, decrypter should be able to deal with it. What version are you running ?

You could also try the latest version of anydvd, which also handle the new stuff.
