  1. currently using winfast pvr software for toon caps is there a better solution for mpeg captures??

  2. I will not recommend capturing directly in MPEG2 unless you have a hardware encoder. Capture in DV compliant AVI format in real time and then encode. This is slower but the results will definitely be better.

    depends on your equipment, and your video source. what do you have for capturing to your computer?

    what will your video source be? (knowing all possible video sources will help find a solution that fits them all).
