    If I load a movie trailer with Quicktime, how can I keep it? so I can convert it to mpeg or avi later.
    I'm asking this because after I load a trailer it plays but I can't find the file on the harddrive, I know it's there because I can play it a thousand times but only if I keep the link page open ?

    Please Help I'll appreciate it. Thanx.

  2. Well,
    You are really asking two different questions;

    1 - How do I get the file for a quick time.
    2 - How do I THEN convert a qt file to mpg.

    Well, I do not know what browser you are using, but I suggest you learn a bit more about it first.

    IF You are using i.e., then usually, instead of just clicking on the link for the movie, you can right click and select "save target as" option.
    That will save the QT file on your hd.

    2 - Once you have the qt file, then read the section (see that bar on the left?) called conversions, and use some of the reccomended software.
    I use tmpg but discovered that most QT cannot be converted since they have protected audio.

    (there is a way around this, but it is not worth the effort in my opinion).

    there you go.

    Try TMPEG, you will need a plugin so you can open *.mov with it.
