I think we've already had our 15 minutes of snow for the year.

I never seen mothers or nuts snow before. :P

    Photograph falling snow? Easy.
Use the shutter. Slow gets streaks.
Fast (and close preferably) gets flakes.

You also need filters to cut glare.
    Most people don't have these.

    Good film won't hurt either.

If digital, use a white balance book.
Most people don't have these either.

@BJ_M :P :P :P That's what you get for not living right downtown.

I was out just now and saw the big fat flakes falling. 30 minutes later and it's all melted off the ground already.

All of the houses in this neighborhood look relatively similar. What's the avg. price of a home in this area($US). Also what area of Canada is this because we had what looked like a snowstorm here in Ohio as well yesterday so I'm thinking you're not too far into Canada but I could be wrong.

i'm on Lake Simcoe , about 130Km north of Toronto ..

in this area, house prices range from $400,000 - $7.5 million CND..
do a search - i posted pics of other places in this area a few weeks ago here.. there is a lot of diversity in looks .. most of the time , not always .... the one you see the back of would go for maybe 1.25- 1.5 million .. he has a awesome home theater in there .. thats the back of that house btw ..
