  1. I wasnt sure how to word the topic, but my problem is as follows.

I have multiple .avi's (tv shows) I want to convert them to some format so I can put them in tmpgenc dvd author.

This way I can have multiple shows on 1 dvd instead of using a dvd for just one 1/2 hr show.

I have WinAvi but when I use it to convert the files to mpeg2 and then put them in tmpgenc dvd author it rejects them saying they are not "standard" dvd mpegs.

WinAvi doesnt allow for any settings to be changed to make the mpeg 2 standard.

Ive also tried to convert the avis to dvd directly with WinAvi (thus creating a TS_Audio and TS_Video folder) but when I try to open anything in the TS_Audio or TS_Video folder Tmpgenc dvd author rejects it.

So basically im looking for any program that can convert the .avi into some usuable format for tmpgenc dvd author.

I dont even care if I have a menu or not on the dvd's since they are only used one time.

Reading the guides on this site i determined that WinAvi and Tmpgenc Dvd Author was my best bet so I went out and bought those two programs and now cannot get them to work.

I just want my tv shows on a dvd

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Try DVD Workshop, expensive but it's like a trashcompactor it will take just about anything.. If the videos all have the same framerate you'll have no trouble.

There's a thirty day free trial.
