I have been using nero to convert my videos to dvd one by one overnight and becoming fustrated because of lack of efficency. I realize that I have the potential to convert 3 or 4 different dvds overnight, so I was wondering If there is a program out there that I can have multiple sessions sequentialy so that I can maximize my efficency while I sleep. I not referring to puting multiple avi's on to one disk but to converting and saving avi's to dvd's on my harddrive and burn them in the morning.

    Thanks

There is a batching tool for ConvertXtoDVD somewhere.

FAVC can be told to stop after the scripts are generated, so you could then write a master script to run all of the conversions one after the other.

Here's the link for the software you need (it's freeware)

    http://www.infectiousx.com/item/convertxbatch-v20-wip-release-2

This batch tool allows you to do everything you are asking for with ConvertXtoDVD (and it really works !!)
    Don't worry.......we'll be alright...

If you're not afraid of batch files and Avisynth, try
    https://forum.videohelp.com/topic332556.html
for ways to make M2V using HCEnc.
A couple of different approaches listed.

For audio, several methods. Eg BeSweet lets you convert a batch directly from AVI to AC3.
But this is relatively fast and you don't need to schedule it overnight. Start it while you get a cup of coffee and it's done when you're back.
