  1. Ok, so I make up my DVD. Let TDA author the dvd. This can take 40 mins up to 3.5 hours depending on the source video. Burn to disk, check, then find I want to make a change.

How do I make a minor , say spelling correction, to a track title or something and not spend so much time to re-author the dvd?

    Thanks,

    DJ

Don't make mistakes. There is no "quick way". Do it all over again. Don't rush projects.

Well, the other issue is that I authored a DVD. The player will not select a certain track. If I change all the titles to "1", "2", etc. It will select the track.
So, I am trying many changes to try and figure out why it is refusing to select this one track. It has something to do w/the names. So, I am looking for a quicker way to try many iterations.

Well... welcome to TDA.. buggiest POS authoring software when it comes to properly creating nav info.

I've seen that exact errors MORE TIMES than I can count or want to remember. It is a VERY COMMON issue that has NEVER BEEN FIXED by the company.

I only use it for menu-less authors.

To fix it, you must cross your fingers, and start over with the menu. Sucks, huh? It's one of the biggest reasons I gave in and got Ulead DVDWS2. TDA did multi VTS. But so does DVDWS2, and it's just as easy.
