I've just converted a home video from DV to mpeg2 using TMPGEnc Plus as elementary .m2v and .wav files. I added them to DVD-Lab, created all the menus etc and compiled it. Now here's the strange thing. I compiled it the first time and didn't have any problems, it looked and sounded just great. But now, all of the sudden when I compile it there's no audio, either when I view it on my computer or on a standalone DVD player. What in the world can I check? Could something have happened with TMPGenc? I changed some encoding options in it but absolutely nothing in regards to audio. I'm clueless, any help is appreciated

  2. Is the .wav LPCM 48khz?
Are you sure the audio is in the audio track under the video track? It won't be, if you cropped the end off.
Why are you using a large .wav?

the audio is PCM 48khz .wav. I'm positive it is under the video track in DVDLab, and I didn't crop it at all.

The reason I'm using wav is because I want the absolute highest quality, and the video is only 45 minutes long so I have plenty of room to use it with.

I just tried encoding it as .mp2 audio instead of LPCM and I am still getting the same problem.

  5. That's a new one for me.
Short of removing the assets as well as removing them from your project, then reimport, and readd them to the project, I don't know what else to try.
