I have received a DVD from my brother in-law with home videos on it that were converted from VCR tape to DVD by an unknown source. He brought it over to my mother in-law, and it was unreadable in her DVD player, so I offered to see if I coult get it re-burned because I am the techie with a DVD burner
My DVD player also does not play it (mine plays just about everything) and upon further examination the DVD contains no data.... or SEEMS to contain no data, because when I turn it over it shows that about 1/3d of the disc is filled with something.
I was wondering whether there are any tools with which I can examine the disc, and possible copy the video data to my computer so that I can reburn it properly.
