OK, Minor noob here.
I just had to do a reformat on my HDD, after I put LE6 back on I can no longer render certain AVI files. I was working with these files before the reformat with no probs. They are AVI's (Xvid, mpeg4) LE will import them but will not render them, I just get a red render bar at the top of the time line. It will play the audio OK even without rendering.
I figure either I've set it up wrong or I'm missing a codec although Gspot tells me the codecs for the file are installed. DivX and WMV will play the files back but the audio is way out of sync.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
WinXP, Athlon 2600 Barton, 1gb ram.
Thanks

I have completely given up on this prog. I went to a live seminar and it worked like a champ. Yeah ,, on their machine and doing "scripted" operations. I take it home and load it into my PC and I've had nothing but trouble. Many random problems like no rendering, stupid LOGO weatermark on final video if it does render,,,and yes I did install all the components and activated them. All the serials are listed. Anyway, I ended up doing a re-install of XP Home and have left it out. I am back to using the very latest Studio Plus 9.3 whatever and it has been working perfect. Sorry to hear that you are also having problems. Their user forum is chuck full of such nasty tales!!
