DVD Gets Stuck and Freezes at End of Every Chapter

I am using Intervideo DVD 5 with a commercial DVD that gets stuck and freezes at the end of every chapter. I then always have to use the Task Manager to end the process. When I made a copy of it to a DVD disk using DVD shrink and nero, it still does the same thing

Does anyone have a clue what this is all about and could there be some way of fixing it manually or by some fixit software when the DVD is copied on the hard drive?

Never liked that app. Try using DVD Decrypter. What version of Dvdshrink are you using?

OK, Intervideo WinDVD 5 gives better sound quality on my system and that is why I am using it. There is too much vibrating sound quality with some of the other players I've tried.

But I just discovered that when I used the DVD player that comes on the DVD that automatically starts up when I play the DVD, at the end of each chapter it brings me back to a menu whereas at the end of every chapter using Intervideo WinDVD 5, it freezes. I don't understand why that is but it looks like the problem is a Player issue unless it is not supposed to go back to the menu at the end of each chapter. It's a tutorial movie so that is why I guess it does that.

Have you tried reauthoring and extracting only the movie and not the menus and extras?
