Vob to Mpgeg2 how to

Ok, I belive thise shuld be an EASY question for most.

1. HOW DO I CONVERT a VOB file to MPEG 2 ?


I have a vob file ( no stupid questions please ) and I need to make it into an mpeg 2 or avi what ever so that I can later edit it the program of MY choice.


What seems like should be a SIMPLE answer has been evading me for OVER a year now.

PLEASE NO STUPID ANSWERS from you 15000 post fools, like read, search etc.etc.

IF you know give me a simple answer if not DO NOT WASTE MY TIME !!

If you are going to do some basic editing you can try rename the vob to mpg and use videoredo or mpegvcr.

If you want to edit in adobe premiere you can get the mainconcept mpeg pro.

Or convert to huffyuv avi with virtualdubmod or virtualdubmpeg2.

Over that entire year, if you had have checked the guides section just once, you might have found this

Depending on what you're going to be opening the file with, sometimes all it takes is to rename it from .VOB to .MPG, since a VOB file is MPEG already.
