  1. Excuse my bad english.

I have check a file .vob (created with TMPGenc DVD Author) and the original .mpg file (created with TMPGenc) with Bitrate Viewer.
Why the bitrate and Qlevel are not the same ?

It is possible that TMPGenc DVD reencode the file?

Maybe. How long was the author? 15 minutes? Hours?

I didn't think TDA could alter the bitrate, as in in, it's not possible at all, but I could be wrong. Did you do a CBR, a CQ or a 2-Pass VBR with TMPGEnc the encoder ?
    If in doubt, Google it.

AFAIK, there's no encoding capability in TDA. However, the mux rate could be different from the source video bitrate. What does the bitrate say for the mpg and the vob? I could imagine the VOB bitrate being higher than the source mpeg.

I must have been tired. Of course there's no encoding engine, aside from audio conversions.
