    The problem I'm having with my LiteOn DVD Recorder 5006 is that even when finalising the DVD it doesnt play on most other dvd players.

    It would be great if I could just extract the movie without the menu and put that onto dvd.

    Any ideas - I'm a bit of a newbie

    LiteOn uses DVD+VR, not DVD-VR.
    DVD+VR is a subspec of DVD-Video.
    Nothing to "convert". Just re-author.
