New Tools Submissions

Was wondering what the average delay time for a new tool submission is right now.

I submitted a few at the weekend and they still haven't shown up. Is this just because of a backup checking them out, or is there some form of censorship going on?

what software did you submit? i don't add everything.

CDRoller www.cdroller.com A CD/DVD data recovery tool. Similar to Isobuster.

The TMPGEnc AC3 plugin. I noticed it wasn't in the tools, and thought it should be.

Lastly, (and don't everyone jump on me) Microsoft Photo Story 3. A free slideshow tool from MS, that has Ken Burns and zoom effects. I know it's Microsoft, but it is quite a good basic slideshow maker.

What criteria do you use to evaluate? If there's a tool already listed that does the same job do you reject?

Put in a request to have D2SRoba util for DVD2SCVD and one other util added about a year ago and never heard anything. Checked back several months later and they were still not added, so I submitted it again. Never heard anything again and it was not added then either.

Not a bullet-proof process and there's not notifaication that it was ever received or declined.

i have a link to the ac3 plugin under the tmpgenc dvd author...it is enough for now.

i added a link to d2sroba under dvd2svcd..but when it is was included in dvd2svcd i removed it.

i might change how I add plugins for tools...but i don't know how yet.
