    Pioneer Requires u do their firmware update in MS DOS NOT!! MS DOS mode.

    Problem is their latest Firmware, the 2 files required are 1.41mb and they say to put these onto an MS DOS boot disk.

    How am i able to do this?

    You don't flash it in DOS.
    Read the instructions that are provided with the flash.

    And by all means don't flash if you are not having problems. Don't know how to do the flash properly, then don't do it. Too many people are rendering a good drive useless by not following the instructions plus basic firmware update rules. If it ain't broke it don't need fixin.

    It has a MASSIVE WARNING on the Pioneer site TO BE USED IN MS DOS ONLY and DONT USE IN MS DOS MODE!
