Hi
Any one Please help me. I am fedup with this Power calibration error.
In the past (3-6) months I have burned about 20DVDs 4X(quentin media) in my Poineer 107D model.
Now I am using same brand but 8X media, tried even all the speeds from 1X to 8X still getting calibration error.
I did use good DVD lense cleaner dry type with brush etc.
It is not that DVD writer does not write at all, if use the old 4X media of the same brand it still works, only problem with new stock.
The new DVD Media 8X it does not state it can support 1X to 8X, is it possible in that case this media can support only 8X burning.
In some cases i have seen specifically they state media can support different speeds with max speed.
Please help me
Enclosed log file
Thanks & regards
Ravi

It usually a media issue. Just cause you used the same stuff before doesn't mean you're going to get the same results.
You might be able to write at 2x & work from there & see if that works.
