    How do I convert a dvd that I made on a stand alone dvd recorder from home movies to a mpg or avi so that I can edit it and reburn it from my pc?

    What software do I need? I have the free version of TMPGEnc, dvd decrypter and dvd shrink. I want an mpg or avi to import into proshow gold so I can add photos and music.

    Use file mode in decrypter. Rip to hard drive.
    Edit, reauthor, burn.
