I have a Canon ZR-90. As I review the tapes recorded during a recent trip, some portion (normally a few seconds) appear to be corrupted -- horizontal bands that are mixed from different time (e.g. odd from time t, even band from mixed time or color blocks).
Is this problem of tapes or camcorder?
Thanks!

sounds like bad tape...

This occurs from time to time for me also. Eject the tape, re-insert it and try again.

Well, it seems to me like your tape has reached the end. You might try a tape cleaner. I honestly don't know. I have always uploaded all my DV before the source tape had time to degrade. I'm VERY picky about quality.
