Hi there,
I just want to say that I newbie to this topic so I apologise for my ignorance. I am subscribed to Australian Foxtel Digital Cable television and I've got the following set-top box:

Now I am considering to get FusionHDTV DVB-T PCI card:
http://www.dvico.com/products_dvbt.html
My question is if I would be able to receive the signal from digital cable television on my computer? Also what cables would I need to use? Would that be RF output from the set-top box to RF input on the digital tv tuner card? Or it might be composite, but according to the Pace web site although composite video output exist on the set-top box, it is not mentioned the use of it. Also, if I even can use composite, how do I get the audio to my tv tuner card?
I would really appreciate help with this matter. Thank you in advance.

The site states that the RF outputs to an analogue signal, not a digital one. Because of this, you would need a analogue capture card to veiw foxtel digital, or a HDTV card with analogue inputs, which the FusionHDTV card has. To connect it up, you would need a SCART to S-Video adaptor (with RCA audio outputs, which all do) (around $10), a S-Video Cable (around $15), an audio RCA cable ($10), and a RCA to 3.5mm audio plug to connect to the line-in input on your sound card ($5). You will also need to connect your foxtel cable and antenna cable to your computer and Foxtel Digital STB, so make sure you have an outlet near your computer.
Enjoy!
