  1. I skimmed over some of the guides, and I wasn't able to find exactly what I was looking for. I want to convert some DIVX .avi files to a DVD and I want to add a real simple menu to it. Are there any good free programs that will let me do this?

    Thanks

DIKO or my favorite, TheFilmMachine can do that and they are both free.

    To encode: TMPGEnc.
    To author: TMPGEnc DVD Author.

Both comes with a 30 day trial period. I'd stay clear of one-clic-solutions, if I was planning on making these kinds of conversions on a regular basis (rather than just once).
