  1. I've just recently started using Sonic MyDVD studio. What I want to do is to capture TV shows from my winfast tv2000xp. I thought that direct to disc was my best option, I just wanted to burn dvd's without any menus to play on our home dvd player but the problem I am having is that the image is fair not real good but after it burns the dvd there is no audio. I've checked and rechecked my configurations in everything related and it's all set correctly. Am I missing something?

    Thanks,

Have you tried capturing TV with the software that came with the TV Tuner or another piece of software? Did you get audio then. How does the audio output to your computer? By way of a male/male plug audio cord from your TV Tuner to the line in of your sound card? Check connections first, then check your sounds setting under the operating system you are running. Make sure Line -IN if you are using this to get your sound from the TV tuner is not muted. If this seems okay grab Virtual VCR in the Tools section to the left, and try capturing with it. Try capturing to your hard drive first and see how the file plays back. If you have audio then load the file in My Sonic DVD and burn from there. Post back if you get stuck.

  3. Thanks for your thoughts.
I've used the software that came with the Winfast , it's just not doing the job I want. As for cable hook up there are no cables involved, video and audio is direct through pc slot from the captue card.
All of the software that I have used the audio was fine there seems to be an issue with the Sonic MyDVD studio software. I just can't find it. I tried their tech support but after several trys without a return answer I'm forced to try elsewhere.
As for virtual VCR, my system did not like that little piece software at all. I dumped it after it froze my system 3 times. It was a nice thought .
    Any other idea's?
    Thanks,
