I need some help on this DVD Recorder. It will never display tapes right, but it will display the satilite perfectly. The tapes that I play that go out to the DVD Recorder are always to bright and sometimes flicker in contrast and brightness. Does anyone know what the problem could be?
I have it away from other electronic devices, I bought a new A/V cord, I have it so that air can get to the bottom of it, and I have tried a factory reset.

There was a patch for vcr's for the 9000's, maybe yours needs a firmware update?

Sounds like copy protection.

lordsmurf, it sounds like it is probably that. I know that the VHS is not copy protected because I am the one who recorded it. I will be looking around for a "remover" or "enhancer" device. Thanks lordsmurf
I will probably get the one here: http://www.checkhere22.com/stabilizer.html . It sounds like it would be a good one. And thanks thanks again lordsmurf, I was about to goat the company because I thought that the DVD Recorder was going bad
