    I recently bought a LG DVD 4160b recorder and tried to backup my files into a 8.5 gb media. Here is the first question... Is it necessary to eject de DVD and put the media into de other side to complete the work? Another question... Is there DVD media 8.5 GB RW or only 8.5 GB R?

    Did you buy doublelayer 8.5gb or double sided 8.5 gb DVD-RAM ? If the later then yes, you do have to turn it over.
