  1. My digital cable box only has composite video connection in addition to the coaxial connection. Will the digital cable channels look better or just as good on a EDTV as they would on a regular TV?

    composite video connection
is there anything coming out that pipe?
I've seen many cable boxes that have such a connector but nothing comes outta there...

For example, why wouldn't they send this to your set..... instead of the CHANNEL 3 or 4 RF signal that non-digital cable systems use, here in the UNITED STATES..

its probaly not functional on your unit

  5. My cable box has a functional composite output (and separate left/right audio outs as well) but like others have said -- if anything, it's worse than the channel 3 RF signal. I thought at first I'd get stereo from the higher digital channels using the separate audio outs, but no dice. Comcast sux.
