Hi, is there anyway to password protect a folder in a way that allows you to view it without having to extract it other than zip?
Thanks
Tim

If, however, you have a shared account on the computer (i.e., no password set for it) and it isn't an admin account, then an admin (via the admin account) can configure the folder's security settings to allow only you to access the folder. As before, if there is a separate admin account that isn't yours, the admin will be able to access the folder.
If neither of the above work, you'll need a third party solution as suggested by TooLFooL, AlanHK and aedipuss.John Miller
