    whats the best program that can join all media types together into 1 big movie file?

    There is no "best". Everyone has their own favorite.

    Start reading about the process here. Also, the "All Guides" has good links for all apps needed for every step. You just have to take the time and read it:

    Are joining 'like to like' (eg same res/audio/fps xvids or mixing and matching?)....if the sources are different then you are STUFFED as something will HAVE to be re-encoded....and if so then just encode each file to m2v then join with your DVD authorer.
