  1. Hi

    I just purchased a GE5803P, I haven't hacked it or anything. I have
a problem though, whenever I try to play VCDs that I've burned, they
always slow down and then speed up--causing the audio and video to go
out of sync. I was wondering if it's something I may be doing
wrong? I encode the videos myself aswell, here's the software i'm
    using:

    Encoding: TMPGEnc (newest version)
Burnring: Nero 4.0 (5.0 kept crashing on my computer)

My hardware (I know...it's not the highest end...LOL)

    190 MB Ram
    Pentium III 500 mHz
    My harddrive is 20 GB

I am very computer literate so if anyone could help me out, I would
    greatly appreciate it.

I need to add aswell that the VCDs do not skip on my Sony NS300.
However, that one is in my living room and my GE is in my bedroom.

Thanks for anyhelp ANYONE could offer me

  2. Again, try lowering the bitrate or changing media...this doesnt work, exchanged the player for another one.

It works fine on Princo CDRs with bitrate rates as high as 2.8 mbps for me.
