I recently bought a cheap video capture card off ebay. Here's a link to another one of the same thing:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=3761&item=5157527472&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW
Not the easiest thing to get working. XP kept asking me to install the drivers. Then eventually, it takes them and leave me alone.Still pops up every once in awhile for some reason..... anyhow.... can't get anything to show up EXCEPT using DScaler. Which I have heard is a universal driverless type software. Anyway, I get perfect video in and it records fine..... but no audio. No audio while watching or while capturing. None anywhere. Yes, the audio jumper is plugged in from the card to my mic-in on the mobo. (no sound card) Now, I think I'm on to something. If I look at the device manager there is no yellow error markings BUT, if I look at all the MPEG TV Capture stuff and check out their properties all of them say "this device is working properly EXCEPT the WDM Audio Capture part. It says "no drivers are installed for this device." If I open up the driver CD that came with it, there's a file in the drivers folder that just says "FindCD.exe". Double clicking it gives me an error stating that there is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into device/harddisk. WTF I'm reading off the disk. Downloading drivers off the net gives me the same results. help!

You might want to try the BTwincap driver located here:
http://btwincap.sourceforge.net/
However you have to have the card set up correctly first before you can install this driver ... at least that is how I did it and I think that is how it is supposed to work.

P.S.
It might still work for you because it says the following:
"Before running the installer, you must have installed the old drivers of your card, or have listed the Video Capture card in Device Manager under Other Devices.. (A yellow question mark). You must also have your capture card installed inside your computer.""The eyes are the first thing that you have to destroy ... because they have seen too many bad things" - Lucio Fulci

There usually a set procedure for installing capture cards, you can try this. Usually for drivers off the internet or for cards that have installed improperly you need to uninstall it then restart your computer. After you restart the found new hardware will pop up, pick the search for drivers in a specific location option. point it to the folder where the drivers are or the cd. Most likely it will find them.
Suggest you read the directions in the manual or online for the specific way to install.
