Near the end of about 9 out of 10 of the DVDs I watch on my 4-year-old Pioneer DV-440, the DVD stops playing. The time where this happens, is random - but seems to be always somewhere near the end of every DVD. Probably somewhere near the last 25% of each DVD, but it isn't at the same spots.
So, when the DVD stops playing, I use the scene selector (thank goodness for that) to go back to where I was before, then rewind/fast forward as required, and then continue playing. When I hit the spot where the DVD stopped playing, it usually doesn't happen this second time around, but it sometimes stops playing later on in the DVD (again).
Any ideas as to what is going on? Anything I should do to fix it?
Thanks in advance!![]()
