  1. I have my comp hooked to my tv with good quality RCA cables. Picture is fine, only problem is: Volume is to low. I have to turn the sound on the computer up max to get somewhat low sound to the tv, which also of course makes a low humming sound. All my sound options on my comp are maxed, and the tv can only go so high. If anyone has any experience, I would greatly appreciate your feedback. Thanks.

  2. I always set the computer low and use my TV Volume,No humm..anyway what kind of sound card do you have?

  4. Thx for the replies. Yes, I have the players volume at max. Also turning down the computer volume erased the humm sound. However I still need to max the tv to hear the movie. (Bairly) Im pretty sure I just have an intergrated sound card. Maybe need better card?

    I suspect a bad audio cable or connector.

    Don't know what your setup looks like, but the Mic input on your soundcard will be MUCH louder that the Line-In input. Turn down you speakers if you try this.
