Hello,
Whats the point of Voice over IP if you have to have broadband to use it but you only have dsl???? I mean to save money you'd drop the regular phone service but most dsl is bundled with the regular phone service!![]()
Am I reading this wrong????
Thoughts???
I'm not going to switch but I wondered about the practicality of it.

The telephone bundled in with DSL doesn't offer free long distance. VOIP does

That's right. You pay for the phone/DSL bundle, install VOIP, and you get broadband and free long distance.Originally Posted by bazooka

Not at all stilt. I was trying to follow the conversation, and needed clarification on the edited parts. Everything I said in the last post was on topic, but with the edits, it's kinda hard to follow, isn't it? :P

That's because I'm working from home today. Ok, it really doesn't make that much difference, other than when I'm home I may only have one hand free to have too much time on.Originally Posted by bazooka
