    Hello,

    Whats the point of Voice over IP if you have to have broadband to use it but you only have dsl???? I mean to save money you'd drop the regular phone service but most dsl is bundled with the regular phone service!

    Am I reading this wrong????


    Thoughts???

    I'm not going to switch but I wondered about the practicality of it.

    No, you are correct.

    Verizon sells the dsl at a discounted rate if you also get phone service through them.

    That's right. You pay for the phone/DSL bundle, install VOIP, and you get broadband and free long distance. What's your point bazooka?
