  1. To those of you that have this card (the model with the TV tuner):

    1. How much and where to get it?
    2. Does the card encode audio on-board or does it require a separate sound card?
    3. Can the card capture in AVI format?
    4. Are the MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 files it creates ready to be burnt onto a CD/DVD without further processing?

    TIA....

  3. People have been mentioning that the PV256 has problems
with AMD motherboards with onboard sound and video using
    older VIA chipsets.

My motherboard has onboard sound which I have turned off
in the bios (using a SB Live). Are people having problems
with the PV256 when the onboard sound and video of the motherboard are turned on?

Do the problems clear up when the onboard sound/video are turned off?

Also, I read that the PV256 doesn't like to share interrupts. Is this true?
