I am still a newbie to this vcd stuff and i've only done about 8 movies. Ive been using Smartripper to rip then DVDx to encode to mpeg1 then TMPGenc to cut & then Nero to burn. I have been successful most of the time but with a couple of movies i have done when i open the .ifo in DVDx it wont let me encode right from the beginning of the movie, it wants to start from a few seconds in. The first time this happened i didn't care because i only missed a few seconds of the warner bros logo, but the one im doing now starts :33 seconds in and i miss half the opening credits. I tried using FlaskMPEG to do the encoding but it wanted to do the same thing. Does anyone know whats causing this and how to fix it, I wanna get these vobs of my hard disk and free up some much needed space. I'm still learning so if it is possible please keep replies fairly simple.
