Acer AS1804WSMi notebook

I need to get a new computer, a desktop replacement and was looking at this one. I'm mainly gonna be watching videos, burning dvd's, and doing some work on TMPGENC. It's a must I have a 17" screen. This notebook is in my budget but I'm worried about the widescreen monitor. I'm mainly going to be watching 4:3 content and don't want to see black borders on the sides. I can live w/ borders top and bottom for movies. Does anyone have this particular model or know anything about it? Can't find any reviews of it. I also want to know if I can burn DVD's at 16X with this thing

I can't speak for this particular model, but normally when your DVD app will allow you to stretch the video across the entire screen. No guarantees though. Probably best to call their Pre-Sales support line if they have one.
